30 Brandywine Tomato Seeds Vegetable Heirloom Organic Review

(More customer reviews)I have grown the Brandywine tomato for several years. It is not the prettiest tomato because the top retains some green color and is kind of wrinkled, however when the top slice is cut away there is (in my opinion) no other tomato in the world to match this tomato especially for a home gardiner. First it has reportedly won every taste contest for the last two hundred years (however I can't verify this personally) The flavor is so good that you will agree it is the best tasting tomato that you have ever bitten into. The meat is fleshy with small seed cavities and is a fairly large tomato. It is an indeterminate varity so the tomatos ripen fruits over a long time span, it will provide tomatos for family and friends until frost and after if you ripen the fruits inside. This tomato is well suited for a family garden because it produces over a long time span, the way a family eats, where the determinate varities produce everything in a ten day period which is good for some types of canning although the Brandywine will allow some home canning every week

OOZE TUBE TREE WATERING TUBE 15 GALLON GREEN Review

(More customer reviews)Here's the problem with the Ooze Tubes. When you first fill them up they work perfectly, but after say the second day when some of the water has drained the bags move. They kind of roll over as water is released. At that point the spout is no longer at the bottom and no longer dripping. They are okay, but we end up filling them up a lot more than we anticipated.

I was annoyed by the detatchable bottom piece in the beginning. I thought I would never use it. Now I use it every time. I put it on the counter and put the colander on it when I'm done so the water doesn't go everywhere. One of my favorite kitchen buys of all time.

(More customer reviews)This was definitely a waste of money. I purchased two steamers, one for me, and one for a friend. On both of our units, parts of the cover actually broke off on the first useage. We tossed both of them in the trash.
Even if the unit was better constructed, it's a bad design. The vented holder that sits inside the main unit needs to have some little legs so the holder will rest above the water during the steaming processing.

(More customer reviews)I haven't gotten any squash yet but the plants sprouted fast and now the leaves are huge and the vines have started to investigate my garden. I'm glad I had a trellis for the plants to climb on but I'm beginning to think that I should have allowed for much more! I look forward to the flowers and the eventual squash. Did you know that you can eat the squash flowers? There are always so many more male flowers than female flowers, so you can, with a clear conscience, use them in salads and to deep fry with.

Garden Patch Grow Box Green Review

I live in the desert and am terrible about remembering to water so I have a small drip line feeding the water basin to make sure there is enough water. My two different tomato plants have thrived in these boxes. My lettuce was great and I'm going for three more for other veggies. The only problem is that they are too shallow for veggies that need a lot of depth and I would like the manufacturer to make taller ones. I'm very happy with my purchase since they were less expensive than some others I looked at and once they are set up with the fertilizer in the covering I didn't have to do anything else for the entire season except spray off plant pests and pick tomatoes

I had to do some culling of the seedlings, but only because there were too many. I came out with great onions, and would definitely repurchase these seeds over and over.

(More customer reviews)This plant is also known as Beetberry and seemed an interesting little plant to try because you could use the leaves as spinach salad leaves and the berries in the salad or eaten raw. It's very rare apparently and I've found out why!
The entire first package I bought never germinated. Normally the first batch of any new seed I try I sow some in a pot, and some in two or three places about the garden to see how well they'd catch on in different spots. Nothing happened. I thought maybe I'd got a bad batch so I trawled the Internet for ages trying to find another seller with this seed. I finally found one and ordered another set. I tried again and although some seeds of this new batch did germinate, they only lived a few days before they keeled over and died.
Now I consider myself to have a pretty green thumb, and can usually make things grow when others can't, so...APPROACH WITH CAUTION! I won't say to stay away completely because it's always good to try new plants, and growing conditions are so subjective that maybe it'll work for you even though it didn't for me.
