(More customer reviews)Always hated using my huge colander for a small amount of fruit or other food. This one is the perfect size for a bowlful of anything. I was annoyed by the detatchable bottom piece in the beginning. I thought I would never use it. Now I use it every time. I put it on the counter and put the colander on it when I'm done so the water doesn't go everywhere. One of my favorite kitchen buys of all time.
