(More customer reviews)This is my second collapsible kitchen item, the first being a colander. They do not collapse completely flat, but instead, roughly about half to one-third of their original height. For example, this funnel folds in on the green section. (The green section is made of stiff rubber, the white section is rigid plastic.) The total height is the top white part that you can see in the photo, roughly two inches. This is certainly small enough for the funnel to be able to easily fit into a drawer.
Right now, being that this is new, it is slightly difficult to get it to collapse and open back up. I'm hoping that it will break in, as did my other piece, and become more flexible. I always throw mine in the dishwasher, on the top shelf, and have never had any issues. I like that it can be disinfected.
