The primary ingredients in the bar are palm and coconut oils, which might frighten off some potential buyers. Let me reassure you - this is not a greasy bar. On the contrary, it will leave you feeling exceptionally clean, and lightly scented. Speaking of the scent, the orchid fragrance is sweet on the skin. Very delicate and unequivocally feminine, though I was actually hoping for a bit more fragrance. I deducted one star because when I think of a hot mess living on the edge, orchid scented and all, I think of something a bit stronger. As it stands, this fragrance pretty much requires you to have your nose on your skin to smell it. For some, that would be enough to merit an extra star, I'm sure!
Incidentally, my mother got her hands on this bar of soap. She grew up in the 50's, and she stated that this bar transported her back in time to her childhood - something about the smell. She's absolutely in love with it now, and won't let me have it back. I'm sure she'd give it a full five stars, if it were up to her.
