(More customer reviews)This is a good, inexpensive and versatile knife that can be used as a spreader and server. I stumbled upon it when I needed an inexpensive item to meet the free shipping requirement.
It's good for cutting soft & leafy vegetables (lettuce, tomato), things that can be cut with sawing motion. It will not cut hard vegetable (carrot) that requires chopping motion.
It's particularly handy for making sandwiches. I can use it to spread the condiment, then slice the tomato or sweet pepper, and cut the sandwich in half at the end with just one knife. It's also great for cake, breads, brownies, etc.
It washes well in the dishwasher. A great buy overall!
