(More customer reviews)We use a lot of garlic on a daily basis in most of our dinners. This was a cute gadget we got for a gift, and I was curious to see if it worked better then my other garlic chopping methods.
For a REALLY big lot of garlic, I use my Ninja Food Master Prep. Otherwise for everyday cooking, depending on the size I need the garlic, I will either use a microplane which is fast and efficient, or a good sharp knife. I personally like to do chopping and prep work, so I didn't neccessarily need a "garlic gadget".
While this item works fine, it only does a couple cloves at a time, and seems like a total pain to scrap out over and over. If it was larger, it would make sense. It might be a nice accessory to have for someone who only likes a hint of gasrlic, but for the garlic lover, look elsewhere.
