(More customer reviews)I was trying to use this seed for growing lettuce aeroponically in my basement. I used damp, pH correct, nutrient-free rockwool (like I have with similar varieties of lettuce before) and put a single seed in each hole. Every one I tried (and I did a few batches) damped off (grew really tall to the point the seedling fell over from its own weight). Again, this is something I've done with similar lettuce varieties and never had a problem. Maybe it works better outdoors sown in the ground.
