(More customer reviews)I thought this would prolong the shelf life of my potatoes... Not so much. I have this bag hanging in the back of my pantry - the door is always closed do it is always dark. Potatoes still sprout within a week! I was really disapointed... Not sure if I'm missing something, but the concept seems pretty fool-proof, so I think this isn't much better than leaving them in the retail bags except that it gets them off the floor and and makes use of empty wall space. Also the capacity is quite small. Does NOT hold 8 pounds of potatoes - 5 maybe...
