(More customer reviews)I've used these peelers for more than 20 years. They last until someone breaks them doing something stupid (like trying to open a jar with one). I peel 100 to 200 pounds of potatoes a year. I peel more than one hundred pounds of carrots a year. A good peeler is really, really important in my kitchen. The bright colors make it easy to find the peeler in the knife drawer (unless you get a dark one). I have, at any one time, three in service, one or two as back ups. Most of the back ups are given to friends who see the peelers in use and who had nothing as good. For $3.50 I can be a hero. Anyway, if you have a typical crappy vegetable peeler, throw it away and order some of these. You'll thank me later.
